The Manitoba Alzheimer Society is planning to hold a workshop next month. Living with Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Dementias – Caring, Planning, and Team Building is a two-day event that anyone dealing with Alzheimer’s disease, either as a patient or as a caregiver, should attend.

Alzheimer society warns against self-medication

THE ALZHEIMER Society of Ireland has warned against any attempt to “self-medicate” against the onset of dementia. Its warning comes after research showed that high doses of vitamin B helps to slow changes in the brain seen in dementia.
