Alzheimer’s Association to present program in Monmouth

MONMOUTH — The Alzheimer’s Association – Central Illinois Chapter will present a three-hour program, “Protecting what Matters: Adapting to the Personal Care and Safety Needs of Persons with Alzheimer’s Disease,” Thursday, Sept. 23, from 9:00 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 221 Broadway, Monmouth.

NEW Area residents to attend Alzheimer’s event (Thomasville Times-Enterprise)

THOMASVILLE — More than 200 Alzheimer’s advocates will be donning purple T-shirts and arriving at the capitol Monday to thank Gov. Sonny Perdue and the Georgia Healthcare Facility Regulation Division of the Department of Community Health for rewriting the Personal Care Home Regulations.
