An Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk, hosted by the Colorado chapter, will be Sept. 18 at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley. The walk will start at 8 a.m.

An 82-year-old Kent Island woman who was allegedly beaten to death last week by her husband suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and had recently been “very combative and verbally abusive” toward him, according to court documents.
