ACTON — In three years or so, adults may be able to ask their physician for a high-technology screening for Alzheimer’s disease, thanks to technology developed by Neuroptix Corp. and two Boston medical centers.

Inglewood man, 78, missing 
A 78-year-old man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease went missing Thursday from his Inglewood home, police said. Apolinar Garcia disappeared from his home on 101st Street about 11 a.m., said Sgt. Ken Ferrin of the Inglewood Police Department.
